Product Introduction
The fibers are placed in a loose tube made of high-modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filler compound. The tube is wrapped with a layer of water-blocking glass fiber. A corrugated steel tape is applied over the fiber. Two rip cords are positioned between the glass fiber and the steel tape. The cable is then completed with a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) sheath.
