Product Introduction

GYTS single-armor cables feature a loosely woven tube filled with a water-resistant filler compound. The core is a steel wire, sometimes coated with polyethylene (PE) cable.

With a high fiber count, it is located in the center of the core as a metallic strength member.

The tubes (and fillers) are twisted around the reinforcing member into a compact, circular cable core. An aluminum polyethylene (APL) laminate is applied around the cable core, which is then filled with the filler compound to protect it from water ingress. The cable is then encased in a PE jacket. It is suitable for long-distance communications and LAN installations, and is particularly well-suited for applications requiring high moisture resistance.
