Product Introduction
The 200 μm or 250 μm loose-tube core wire is placed inside a loose tube made of high-modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filler compound. The tube is then wrapped longitudinally with a layer of polystyrene-based plastic (PSP). A water-blocking material is applied between the PSP and the loose tube to maintain a compact and watertight cable. The fiber optic cable is completed with an outer polyethylene (PE) jacket.
