The steel members of the tap armored the outdoor 8.0mm fiber optic cable with 12 GYXTW bases

The core loose-tube armored cable is a braided loose tube. 200µm or 250µm fiber is placed inside a loose tube made of high-modulus plastics. The tubes are filled with a waterproof filler compound. The tubes (and fillers) are then braided around a non-metallic FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) core as a central strength element, forming a compact, circular cable core. After filling the cable core with the filler compound, it is covered with a thin inner PE (polyethylene) sheath. Following the application of a braided layer of aramid yarns over the inner sheath as a reinforcing element, the cable is completed with an outer PE or AT (anti-tracking) jacket.
