The GYFXTY fiber optic cable is a non-metallic reinforced outdoor communication cable. It is used for long-distance trunk line installations. It has a maximum fiber core count of up to 24 cores, making it suitable for use in environments with strong electric fields. The cable's structure consists of a central loose tube with two parallel FRP strength members. Optical fiber gel is embedded within the tube using a robust waterproofing system.
