    GDTS fibers, single-mode/multimode, are housed in loose tubes made of high-modulus plastic and filled with tube-filling compound. A metallic reinforcing member is located in the center of the cable. Copper tubes and wires (of the required specifications) are twisted around the central reinforcing member to form a cable core. The core is filled with cable-filling compound and shielded with corrugated steel tape. A PE jacket is then extruded over the core.
