Indoor/outdoor fiber optic cables not only meet the flame-retardant requirements for indoor use but also satisfy the needs of outdoor applications. This fiber optic cable structure places 2 to 24 bare 250µm fibers in a loose PBT tube. Kevlar yarn is used for reinforcement to enhance tensile strength. The standard jacket is made of flame-retardant, halogen-free, and low-smoke materials.
