Aixton shielded outdoor telephone cables are suitable for outdoor installations where direct burial is required.

We offer a lightweight, compact, and durable cable solution that must withstand a variety of weather conditions, from rain and snow to intense sunlight. The CW1198 cable is ideal for securing the exterior of a building or running through conduits. The outer sheath is made of tough, durable polyethylene that is UV and sunlight resistant.

The cores are coated with petroleum jelly to protect them against moisture intrusion.

2. Structure: 99.99% annealed copper conductor and HDPE (high density polyethylene), 0.25 mm aluminum tape (PAP) coated with pet, filled with gelatin, longitudinally wrapped, PE coated.

3. Min. Radius of curvature: not less than 15 times the outside diameter when the outside diameter is not greater than 40 mm, not less than 20 times the outside diameter when the outside diameter is greater than 40 mm.

4. Use: Transmission of audio frequency signals, analog signals up to 150 kHz or digital signals up to 2048 kbit/s and, under certain conditions, can carry digital signals above 2048 kbit/s.

5. Supports many placement lengths: maintaining good NEXT and FEXT and ensuring improved electromagnetic interference protection.

Applications

Suitable for transmitting voice or DC frequency signals where a high degree of circuit integrity is required. Suitable for installation in conduits or direct burial.
