ADSS cables are self-supporting, all-dielectric, single-jacketed cables designed for aerial installation. The ADSS cable design does not require any support structure or messenger wire. Aixton provides a hardware component for installation with an ADSS cable that rests on the pole. The cable is housed within a multi-loose tube filled with a water-resistant filler compound or designed to be water-blocked with water-blocking material on the cable side. The cable is reinforced with high-strength aramid fibers.
