The patch panel is based on the ISO/IEC11801/TIA/EIA568, YD/T926.3-2001 standard. Patch panels are central switching components for audio equipment. They are used to switch and route analog and digital audio signals to and from equipment in recording or broadcast studios, OB vans, churches, theaters, stadiums, arenas, etc.
