How to choose a network cable?

1. Look at the color

First, open the outer jacket of the network cable and test it. You can then see the intertwined network wires and compare them carefully. If the green and white wires and the blue and white wires are together, they are easy to distinguish. If you can see them at a glance, it proves the product quality is good; a poor-quality cable is not easily identifiable.

2. Look at the winding

A good network cable is more compact and has a uniform appearance. An inferior network cable is thin and uneven. From the outer sheath, it appears thinner, and the poor-quality cable looks thicker, but the bundle is relatively loose.

3. Look at the material

Try to buy pure copper network cable; the quality is better and the lifespan is longer. However, pay attention to whether the copper is from recycled materials. High-quality copper wire is softer and easier to straighten, while recycled copper wire is much harder and more difficult to straighten.
