Product Introduction

The ADSS cable is made of non-metallic material and is self-supporting on the overhead power transmission line. The tensile strength material is aramid yarn with high elastic modulus. The optimized structure distributes the cable's weight and mechanical and physical properties appropriately, minimizing the load on the tower. The cable is constructed with a loose tube, gelatin-filled tubes, filler elements (tubes and rods), and water-blocking yarn placed around the non-metallic central strength member. Polyester yarns are used to bond the cable core, water-blocking tape is wrapped longitudinally around the core, and the outer sheath is reinforced with aramid yarn and PE.
