Product Introduction

CAT5e has stricter specifications for equal level far-end crosstalk (PS-ELFEXT), near-end crosstalk (NEXT), attenuation, and return loss (RL) than those of CAT5. Like CAT5, CAT5e is a 100 MHz standard, but has the ability to handle higher bandwidth than CAT5. VPI's selection of CAT5e cables feature unshielded twisted pair (UTP) construction for cost-effective connections.
