  • Product Introduction

    The 250 μm fibers are placed in a loose tube made of high-modulus plastics. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filler compound. The tubes (and fillers) are twisted around a non-metallic FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) core as a central strength element in a compact, circular cable core. The cable core is then filled with filler compound.

    It is covered with a thin inner PE (polyethylene) sheath. After applying a braided layer of aramid yarns over the inner sheath as a reinforcing element, the cable is completed with an outer PE or AT (anti-tracking) sheath.

    The actual condition of overhead power lines is taken into account when designing ADSS cable. For overhead power lines below 110 kV, a PE outer jacket is used. For power lines of 110 kV or higher, a specific outer jacket is used. The dedicated design of the aramid content and braiding process can meet the requirements of various cable lengths.
